Hi there,

I’m Boise family & children photographer Ali Horton, creating timeless photographs for families, children, and intimate weddings in Boise and surrounding areas.

My passion for photography began 10+ years ago in LA when I worked as a nanny.

Photos are more than just pictures to me—they're a way to travel back in time. During a difficult chapter of my life, when I faced homelessness and lost many belongings, the photographs I held onto became my most treasured keepsakes.

That’s why I love creating and preserving memories for you.

Something you can hold on to and preserve for future generations

Kind Words.

A baby with blue eyes looking up while being held against a dark background.
Close-up of two people holding hands during a wedding ceremony, with one person wearing an elegant white lace dress and a ring with a blue gemstone.

Why hire a professional photographer?

In a world where we all carry a camera in our pockets, it’s fair to wonder why you’d hire a photographer at all.

You probably have hundreds of photos on your phone—your kids, your partner, everyday moments, even last week’s lunch. But there’s one important thing missing from most of those images.

You.

You’re often the one behind the camera, capturing the memories but rarely stepping into them. I know this firsthand. Even as a photographer, I have countless photos of my children—but far fewer of us together.

Hiring a photographer isn’t about replacing the photos you take every day. It’s about giving yourself permission to be present. To step into the frame. To slow down and enjoy the moment while someone else preserves it for you.

I’m a full-service photographer, which means I don’t just hand over digital files and send you on your way. My pricing includes professionally printed images—artwork you can hold, display, and pass down—so your memories don’t stay hidden on a screen.

These are the photographs meant to live on your walls and in albums, telling your family’s story for years to come.
